  • Dancers are expected to demonstrate respect to all instructors, staff and fellow patrons.

  • Dancers are encouraged to make new friendships. We enforce teamwork and respect.

  • Dancers viewing a class are expected to be quiet and courteous, as not to disrupt the class and its teachings.

  • Dancers must treat IDCPA and its premises with the utmost respect.

  • Dancers are required to pick up after themselves.

  • Dancers are expected to pay attention and keep talking to a minimum while in class.

  • Dancers must treat other students and their property with care and consideration.

  • IDC has a hands off others, in a negative manner, zero tolerance policy. Anyone involved in such activities will be removed from the premises immediately. This may lead to removal from the studio and/or parent intervention.

  • IDC has a zero tolerance policy for gossip (parents as well as students); this will result in parent intervention and/or but not limited to removal from IDCPA.

Students participating in the following activities/acts are subject but not limited to disciplinary actions including dismissal from IDCPA, dismissal from class, parent intervention and/or suspension:

  • Physical intimidation or injury

  • Theft

  • Sexual Harassment

  • Verbal Abuse

  • Possession of drugs and/or alcohol; this is not tolerated nor permitted and will result in immediate dismissal from IDCPA.

makeup policy

  • If your dancer misses a class, he/she has 30 days to take another class in the same level to makeup up the missed class.

lost and found policy

  • All items left at the studio will be placed in our lost and found bucket located under the sign in table.  On the first of every month, these items will be donated to Good Will.  We cannot stress how important it is to write your dancer’s name in all items: shirts, shoes, shorts, etc.  We do check for names before we donate items and make every attempt to get these items back to whom they belong.

late pickup policy

  • Due to an increased number of late pick-ups, we have instituted a new policy.  Your dancer should be picked up from the studio no later than ten minutes after the last studio class of the day.  Beyond this ten minute grace period, you will be charged $1 per minute.  This money will go directly to cover the cost of a teacher staying late with a dancer.  For example, the last class at the studio most days ends at 8:30.  Therefore your dancer should be picked up by 8:40.  If you do not pick them up until 8:47, your account will be charged $7.  If you have any questions about this, please don’t hesitate to ask.
