Emma Winkler began dancing at the age of four years old. At the age of seven Emma was part of a competitive dance team training in tap, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, and ballet. By the age of 10, Emma began competing as a soloist winning numerous national awards and scholarships. In addition to competitive dancing, Emma began traveling as an assistant for the national convention Adrenaline Dance.
Emma’s professional career began at age 11 after attending Monsters of Hip Hop Convention in Dallas, TX. A top LA agency was in attendance and scouting talent and offered Emma a contract on the spot in front of over 500 people. She then went on to book her first job at age 13 with Macy’s Passport under the choreography of Brian Friedman and Nick Florez. Shortly after, she was featured in Dance Spirit Magazine in 2006 in an article called “Emma Enchanted”. She began working steadily and by the age of 16 she was co-starring and choreographing for feature films and videos such as “Elle: A Modern Cinderella Tale”.
Now at the age of 25 she has danced and worked with many recording artists such as Nick Jonas, Meghan Trainor, Natalie LaRose, Jennifer Lopez, Sofia Reyes, Jason Derulo, JC Chasez, Bella Thorne, Zendaya, and Snoop Dogg to name a few. She has appeared on ABC’s “Suburgatory”, “The Late Late Show with James Corden”, commercials for LIV Dolls and Shoe Carnival, and the video game “Just Dance Disney Party”. Emma can also be seen as a featured dancer on all three seasons of Disney Channel’s hit series “Shake It Up” under the direction of Rosero McCoy. She has worked with many choreographers such as Chloe Arnold, Chantal Robson, and NappyTabs. She is also assistant to JR Taylor and just recently finished working alongside JR & Chris Judd for Season 11 of America's Got Talent.
