Aerial Silks Information

Class sizes are limited to optimize safety and instruction.  A sign-up sheet is available at the front desk. 

If you cannot come in to sign up, but would like to reserve a spot, please email us at innovationdancecenter@gmail.com. 

 

Please understand that by placing your name on the sign-up sheet, you are reserving a spot in the class, so we ask that you be sure you will be in attendance before you sign up.

 

An aerial arts liability waiver is required to be signed for aerial classes.

 

Classes will be split according to age (generally 12 and under, and 13 and up).  We are not specifying which classes will be for which ages at this time because we do not know the ages of students yet. We will wait to see the ages and then we may need to designate certain class times for certain ages.

 

Some little ones may not be able to try aerial arts at this time as it is a requirement that their hands be large enough to adequately grasp the silks for safety.  We apologize if this causes any sadness. 

 

Also, some younger students may be placed in the higher age group (per teacher approval) if they possess adequate skills and listening abilities.

 

Suggested attire includes tight fitting long sleeves and long pants.  A long sleeve leotard and leggings is suggested.  It is important to try to be covered to prevent fabric burns.
